A long-lasting period of freezing rain resulting in ice accumulation is expected Sunday.
Freezing rain is expected to develop Sunday morning and persist for much of the day Sunday. Temperatures will slowly rise through the day which will change the freezing rain over to rain Sunday evening.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and hazardous. Utility outages may occur.
Antoine Mountain's chalet sits nestled at the base of one of Ontario's highest mountains with 15 perfectly groomed runs, a true vertical of 630 feet and home to the longest run in Ontario (2.9km). With a brand new rentals facility offering one of nine Rossignol Experience Centers in North America. Antoine Mountain has a scenic setting and historical location with incredible views from the peek. This mountain is back on top with a newly installed Doppelmayr quad chair lift, a custom terrain park, stoned baked pizza and a killer après ski to end your day.
